The Role
The individual appointed to the Concrete Structures – Supervisor role will be a hands-on leader with strong planning and logistic management abilities. An individual who enjoys being part of a fun, effective and successful team

Duties:
- To efficiently and diligently Site Supervise, whilst physically working within the specialist Kerbing crew.
- Ensuring assigned projects are completed safely. Prioritising safety and the wellbeing of your team. Nurturing a culture of ‘zero harm’ by leading by example and providing coaching and mentoring to all members of your team.
- Participate in Tender Handover Meetings and understand fully the parameters of the project scope and the clients required outputs before commencing a project.
- Liaising with and maintaining positive relationships with all suppliers, customers, stakeholders and RGC personnel.
- Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the projects pertaining to safety, quality, environmental and profitability
- Build sustainable, win-win relationships with all those people you interact with as an agent of RGC
- Flexibility to deliver short duration works outside of the Auckland region as required
Skills and Experience necessary
- Must have a minimum of 5 years leading a structural concrete team
- Preferably 10+ years in the construction industry
- Proficient in overseeing heavy plant: excavators, telehandlers, concrete pumps. Proficient as an operator is a bonus.
- Experienced with proprietary formwork systems: PERI, Doka, RMD, and similar modular systems
- Strong knowledge of falsework, shoring, and temporary works design principles
- Capable of coordinating crane lifts and managing lifting plans for formwork and rebar
- Familiar with concrete placing equipment: boom pumps, line pumps, and tremies
- Ability to inspect and maintain formwork and plant for safety and functionality
- Experience planning formwork cycles for efficient pour sequences
- Have ability to temporarily fulfil a generalist Concrete and Civils Site Supervisor role if the lack of continuity in Structural Concrete work dictates
- Ability to work with fair degree of autonomy and able to recognise when it is appropriate to ask for wider RGC support and assistance for the betterment of the project outcomes for the client, RGC and the structural concrete team
- Be comfortable with working in a fastmoving work environment.
- Strong communication skills.
